Schwabach, November 23, 2011. Unified Automation GmbH provides the first commercial Software Development Kit (SDK) that reached the highest level of certification. The C++ OPC UA Demoserver build with the C++ based OPC UA Server SDK Version 1.3.1 was succesfully tested in the North American certification laboratory.
During the SPS/IPC Drives 2011 in Nuremberg Stefan Hoppe, President of OPC Europe, handed over the certificate to Jürgen Boxberger, Executive Director of Unified Automation. This certificate shows the quality of the product and especially commends the efforts and appreciation of Unified Automation's dedication to high quality OPC UA products.
“We now can offer our customers a proven solution which significanlty improves the confidence in our toolkit products” says Jürgen Boxberger, Executive Director at Unified Automation. “Products based on our SDK/Toolkit are now ready for certification and we encourage all vendors to get their products certified.”
The certification test includes functional testing, interface conformance, interoperability testing and behavior testing related to the latest OPC Specifications. The test laboratory runs the server against the latest Compliance Test Tool (UA-CTT). The C++ UaDemoServer passed all tests including the UA profiles: “Standard UA Server” and “DataAccess Server”.
Version 1.3.1 is the latest release of the C++ based OPC UA Server SDK and is available for evaluation in the download area of our web site.
