Even though already registered for embedded World 2020, Unified Automation decided to not participate in person on this years embedded World. The OPC Foundation has finally canceled their booth and officially withdrawn their participation.
"Even though all fees are paid and booth design was ready, we decided to not attend the fair." said Uwe Steinkrauss, CEO of Unified Automation. "We are taking responsibility for our employees, our partners and our customers and we will not put anybody at risk."
In the current situation and with the latest information available regarding the corona virus, the international travel and the local attendance, not only with public transportation, but also during conversations on the fair itself, bears a high risk for infection.
