Dear OPC UA Enthusiast,
as promised we keep you informed about new product releases and tools we
develop at Unified Automation GmbH with our quarterly newsletter. This time we would like to present
the new release of UaGateway 1.2.0 and the very promising port of OPC UA
to the mobile platform Android. The worldwide first mobile OPC UA Client, called
UaExpert Mobile, is already available as technical preview.
We want to advise you of two upcoming events where you can meet staff of Unified Automation, presenting
new and well-proven OPC UA products: The OPC Day Benelux in Antwerp/Belgium and the SPS/IPC/DRIVES fair
in Nuremberg/Germany.

OPC Day Benelux 2011
We are sponsor of the OPC Day Benelux
at November 16 in Antwerp. This event
is for end users, system integrators or developers; everyone interested or
involved in OPC is encouraged to participate this prestigious informative
event. You will discover the new OPC Unified Architecture and learn the features
and functionality, as well as network with both local and international colleagues.
The concept is to provide the infrastructure to integrate IT/business level
with automation and field level engineers.

New Compliance Test Tools Available: New versions of test tools released to the
membership for OPC UA and OPC Classic, for both Server and Client testing.
New MES-Connectivity Working Group:
Based on the successful joined working group between OPC Foundation and PLCopen
(IEC 61131-3) a new working group was initiated that will focus on MES-Connectivity.
The goal is to define a standard for integration of machine and process data for
utilization by MES. The kick-off meeting is hosted by SAP on November 17/18 in Walldorf.
Several organizations working on MES standardization like NAMUR, MES D.A.CH, VDI,
VDMA and ZVEI will join the working group with their experts.

for the use of OPC UA and our products and tools.
