The C++ based OPC UA Server SDK V1.3.1 became officially Certified for Compliance by the OPC Foundation.

Schwabach - November 23, 2011. Unified Automation GmbH provides the first commercial Software Development Kit (SDK) that reached the highes level of certification. The C++ OPC UA Demoserver build with the C++ based OPC UA Server SDK Version 1.3.1 was succesfully tested in the North American certification laboratory.

Products of Unified Automation GmbH will be shown on the trade shows below. Come to one of these shows, visit us and find out more on OPC Unified Architecture, our new SDK products and how they integrate with PLCs. We will have live demonstration available.

as promised we keep you informed about new product releases and tools we develop at Unified Automation GmbH with our quarterly newsletter. This time we would like to present the new release of UaGateway 1.2.0 and the very promising port of OPC UA to the mobile platform Android. The worldwide first mobile OPC UA Client, called UaExpert Mobile, is already available as technical preview.
We want to advise you of two upcoming events where you can meet staff of Unified Automation, presenting new and well-proven OPC UA products: The OPC Day Benelux in Antwerp/Belgium and the SPS/IPC/DRIVES fair in Nuremberg/Germany.

The industry standard for secure communication in automation - OPC Unified Architecture – is now supported by network analyzer Wireshark

Schwabach, August 2011. Wireshark comes in version 1.6.0 by default with a Plug-in for decoding the OPC UA binary protocol. The OPC UA dissector was donated by ascolab GmbH.

Dear OPC UA Enthusiast,

we are pleased to present our quarterly Unified Automation Newsletter.
As promised we keep you informed about new product releases and tools we develop at Unified Automation GmbH. From the very successful "OPC Day Europe" at SAP in Walldorf, Germany we learned that a lot of activity is taking place around OPC UA development. Looking back the last few months we are very satisfied with the adoption of OPC UA and all the upcoming UA enabled products.

To establish an active support community and to offer you an additional support channel we started our own UA forum in the Developer-Zone of our website. For trouble shooting and analysis of OPC UA on the wire, a new dissector plug-in was released with Wireshark V1.6.0.

In addition we want to inform you about our new service release V1.2.1 of the ANSI C based OPC UA SDK which now includes a tutorial for using Alarms&Conditions. There is a free evaluation version of this OPC UA SDK available for download.
